I think stuff is more sideways worldwide than it has been in a long time, and people are looking for a way to feel secure. I think power is one of the things that helps you sleep at night, like a warm blanket made of other people’s subjugation.

Anyone who wants such power shouldn’t be allowed it. Yeah there’s been many philosophers warning us of this. Absolute power corrupts your 303 etc. Protect yourself against narcissists

The romanticization of power by a society already occurred in europe post french revolution in the 19th century with nietzsche and others.
But this societal phase has resurged recently in 2020’s…
I see it on social media.
I guess a person cant fix the world. They Only can survive it for as long as possible.
