Organizing (Drum) Samples: Myriad: Should I do it?

This is 100% regarding this thread right here (What should I do with all 72,241 of my drum samples?): [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]

It's $80US. Sure that's alot of money, but the question is, is it necessary? I would say so, however the reason I am creating this thread is to see if there are programs that

A. Do the job better and are less $ (or more)

B. Are ways to go about this without having a dedicated program

C. Hell ya have a dedicated program! This is our career (for some), take it seriously!

FTFY

In all honesty, $80 isn't a whole hell of a lot for a useful program. Most DAWs cost way more than that, just for perspective / whatever

Re: Myriad Audio Batch Processor: Should I do it?

If you want to organize 70k samples it may be worth it. I didn't totall peep the deets, but...I'm not ever going to sit around and rename organize a bunch of samples one by one...personally...so if I wanted to keep and expand an expansive library...

I think you got some fair ansewrs on GS as well tbf...
