The patch, as you can see from the pic below, is white noise going into a 24dB filter filter modulated by an adsr (triggered by a LFO).From the filter the sound goes into a Plague bearer filter (that fucks shit up) then to the output.
The pitched parts you can hear is the resonance of the filter.
By the way, am I the only one who thinks of seawaves when he listens to white noise?
No! mostly because when imitating waves crashing on the shore in early electronic music, it was done using filtered and modulated white noise: probably because the spectrum is also very similar as well.
Here's my WIP, modular only, one single track and no effects apart from some bits on the master track (eq, compressor and limiter). The noise source was a Doepfer A-118.
And I didn't even use Ohmicide!
That part between 1.03 - 1.06 is my favorite, more of that if you could lengthen it
