Does anyone know how to use graphics cards for audio processing? Because I have an MSI GX640 with a Quadro k5000m, the most powerful laptop video card yet. Ebay says its worth 2500$.
Until someone figures that out, I'm using my Sony Z series:
-Premium carbon fiber
-3.6lbs with 9 cell battery
-about 4-8 hours battery life
-i7-620m (much happier with this than a sandy bridge i5)
-256gb Solid State drive
-640gb Hard drive
-13.1" 1920x1080p, 92% gamut LCD screen
But I also have:
HP dv1600 (upgraded motherboard)
Acer 5720g (upgraded motherboard and video card)
Sony SB series (upgraded LCD screen)
Gateway nv78 (built from scratch, running a 5870m gddr5)
Soon to own:
Dell Alienware m15x
Sony SA series
Clevo w870cu/Sager np8690
Dell m4400 (first laptop, still a great machine)

HP really needs to clean up their act regarding customer service in quality control - in their consumer
Next time, buy an HP Elitebook or Probook business series, you are guaranteed to have an entirely different experience.
