Very nice read.
One thing I found missing, is if a cable that comes with the gear is too short buy a new one. I'm currently restricted by the placement of my midikeyboard with ~1m wire..

Yeah I dig it, I would rather have too much than not enough, Though you don't need stupid long cables, Just enough to fit. Good observation!

Those plastic 3 drawer carts are the bomb..can't live without them.Easy to label come in all kinds of configurations..love them.
