[Bass/Neuro/133BPM] IntheAM - Fighting Inside Me

So I've thrown about 6 hours at this. Ain't posted a thing in a minute. Any comments/critiques welcome. Fair warning, there is some wild ass delay feedback at times. Keep a finger on the volume.

I think more change ups/"interest" needs added here. But a solid sketch.

Loving that bass! Also, really interesting delay feedback. Is that stock plugin ? Did you do that in FL?

Re: [Bass/Neuro/133BPM] IntheAM - Fighting Inside Me

It is FL studio but the delay is U he Satin. There is also a little compression on the master which I think is ducking the rest of the song when the feedback gets extreme.

Nice work, dude..don't know if it's me or what, but it did sound a little loud to my ears..and that's even with the feedback factored in, too.

That aside, though, got to say I can't fault it. :victory:

I appriciate the listen <3. Honestly I’ve just got my usual master bus preset of U-he Satin and then some pretty light compression on the 2bus. Very little compression in general and no limiting. Wish I knew enough to know what’s going on there. I’m pretty sure my master is peaking at -6db or less.

A lot of distortioin VSTs though.

Possibly the distortion playing with my ears..plus, the left hinge on my AT m50s just broke and I'm having to hold the cup to my ear..so chances are it's fecking that and not your mixing skills at all.

Yeah starting off strong! It's got potential for a nice wobbly/shuffle dance thing.

I like the hollow bass sound and the dark vibes, I think you should work on making the kick heavier and the snare thicker.
Overall good direction tho, lots of odd sounds. Maybe they need a little more direction so it feels less random.

Very easy to listen to. No problems with loudness at my end. It has a very moviesque feel to it, which I think is why it was so easy to listen to, as your mind is busy conjuring up a nighttime scene.

Nice sounding track Relic. Quite like that piano section that plays through although it feels quite separated from the rest of the track and wasn't sure that they belonged together. I can actually imagine a whole entirely different track emanating from that piano thing. DnB obviously lol.

Sounds good overall production wise.

Noobie here so I won't be dishing out technical advice, but still the same really liked this. It held my interest and the sound is very unique and creates quite the mood. Inspiring, and fun!

Re: [Bass/Neuro/133BPM] IntheAM - Fighting Inside Me

Wow, this is a really interesting track, has so much character going on. I like how it sets a mood for me too. It makes me feel like something not so good is about to happen, like someone is traveling somewhere to commit an evil deed and strange thoughts are running in their mind.

But I guess that is all in the interpretation of the piece.

Anyways, just a bit of feedback on the feedback.... in the end. It literally made me take my headphones off, was just too obnoxious (loud) for my tastes. If thats what you are going after, then job well done lol.

Thanks for sharing!
