@tree: well since i'm the manager of the hip hop tape then you had to submit to me and everything was kosher but now that relic is in charge of the dubstep tape he needs to have access to the submissions. i'll have access to them by default just cuz i'm running that soundcloud account but relic is your man.
@relic: yeah i'll probably go for the lo-fi gritty stuff cuz that's my shit. do they do crackle and hiss and shit in dubstep? i sure fuckin' hope so..
yeah man! they had all the original raw stuff all in vinyl and the recordings weren't super fantastico, so yeah you can hear some crackle and hiss, it was started in the time of turntables man, so I would think for a authentic sound you would need/want that,
but yeah I submitted to him, its just I guess when I reupload the version with the artist data, Ill private share it to the submission page and relic.
but what about that contact info with email thing stuff?? I didnt do that for my submission for you(never heard it from benwaa's rant about the mastering and not on the guidelines until this thread.)
^That's funny ya'll...I have this weird thing where I keep Dubstep tunes really short. Often times I want to make them less than 3 minutes. Probably because a lot of the dubstep I used to buy/download was really short, a lot of tunes under four minutes.
Yea...a lot of tunes I was listening to in 2005 were pretty short. But it may have been that I just naturally gravitated to and only bought the shorter tunes. I'll have to go through my back up hard drives and biff a mix of short choons (yea right...when will I have time for that shit!).
