Thanks for your opinions, guys. I am glad I am not the only one who thinks about the lyrics and the music in this way.

This is exactly how I make my death metal stuff, non of it makes sense, from random guitar riffs to brutal lyrics.

Get out while you still can. You're better off finding more talented musicians to work with.

Re: Problems of being a band member
There is nothing wrong with using three chords in a song, if there is a well thought out purpose and direction to that decision. I am a huge fan of irregular structures, even in my more EDM type of stuff I write. Odd times, uneven groupings. But they are never random- there is always a purpose and a direction. It sounds like this guy is a lazy musician and composer. If he has some redeeming qualities (maybe he is a technical monster or a fantastic singer or showman) it may be worth the time, but from what I understand it doesn't sound worth it.

Soooo......instead of posting his lyrics and passively making fun of him, why not just quit?

Truth.
It doesn't sound to me like you have anything but irritation to gain from working with this guy.

I repeat what I wrote at post #5, if you already have problems at such an early stage, quit, nothing will come out of it.

Re: Problems of being a band member
from my experience being in countless bands the past decade:
If people try to shoehorn structure into the music on the basis that it's "supposed" to be like that, most likely you'll run into problems with that person down the road. I've been in a band with an autistic drummer, it didn't work out in the end because he was unable to adapt to the rest of the band.
Now now not calling your singer autistic in any way, but setting such rigid guidelines for yourself is not going to do you any good while writing songs.
As far as structure is concerned, odd repeats [like looping a bar 3 times] are more common in metal and the likes then in IDM. It's not nessecary though, but it can be a very useful tool to create tension and surprise listeners.
The lyrics are godawful, there's no easy way to put that. For starters, the forced rhyme is well... forced, and not really needed. As a rule of thumb, I rhyme the chorus, the verses are more free flowing. But that's all down to writing style and musical preference as well..

HADES DOES NOT RHYME WITH SHADES, SPADES, OR TRADES.
That is all.
But it does rhyme with mercedes. There's an idea right there. A song about Hades' Mercedes and how he drives like an asshole.

It's up for grabs, I don't think I would be able to make it awesome enough, there is too much potential to be wasted!
Also I'm pretty sure the part of the lyrics that say "master of shades" is supposed to mean "I am a shadow master" or something, but all I could imagine was a guy wearing 11 pairs of sunglasses.
If that's what the son of Hades looks like then the end will be very funny.

Or perhaps a vendor of sunglasses, and/or arcane relics?

lol +1. The whole writing like you're in midieval times deal makes you sound like you're better off going to the restaurant.
Seriously what the fuck is with people that can't deal with writing about real life?

Real life is boring, fuck writing about real life.
If I didn't suck at lyrics I would write about cyberfuck alien space gardening with laserbeam lawnmowers from the future.

Music can be just about the music, I can't really feel a death metal song about how you made a new friend today?
Sometimes songs are symbolic, baby eating his dead friends could mean that we're spoon-fed the same crap from babies by everyone, and we're basically eating from their influences like they just influenced us.
Of course, it could be just random crap to terrify people such yourself.
