Anyone using Adobe Audition?

any one use this at all. i grabbed a copy off my mate to see what its like and its really good its not as big a slouch as it used to be in ye old cool edit days)
its amazing for editing audio. (has plugins made by izotope and everything) and love the central extraction stuff and the hiss and noise removal stuff.

Re: Anyone using Adobe Audition?

Yes, it is the best when you need to edit only one track, much better than other DAWs. So I always keep it although I have Cubase, Sequoia and Logic..

Re: Anyone using Adobe Audition?

I've used it, but not regularly. Good software.
Didn't Adobe buy CoolEdit back in the days and turned it into Audition?

Re: Anyone using Adobe Audition?

I worked in production in a local radio station in my town last Summer and we used Audition 1.0. Really quick and easy to use!

Re: Anyone using Adobe Audition?

I have friends who swear by it (mostly because they say that comp'ing is stupid easy and they mostly do rock-band-type-stuff).

I love it as an audio editor!

It's really light on my system, offers all the things I need and is very easy to use. Recommended!

Re: Anyone using Adobe Audition?

I love it!

Ive used it to remove noise and clicks, but also for granular synthesis. I use the lassoo tool to separate certain harmonies, time stretch and pitch shift them and whatever other effects, then export into kontakt to make an instrument. Some nice sounds can be made this way.

But yeah all in all I love it.
