ok so having just received some new hardware while eating my noodles i went back to some of the youtube videos that made me want it in the first place.

Never seen that one before. I hear those jomox boxes can be a pain to program, have you ever used one of those steeboo?

Hey, I've never touched a jomox. I do know the octa is a bitch to handle. Most elektron machines are very intuïtive but the octa is frustrating for alot of people. Too many buttons with different functions depending on what mode you're in.
The Jomox sound is lush though. Despite the fact that I've got thousands (no really, thousands) of great 808 kick samples treated in a million different ways (tape, cut to vinyl, etc)...nothing like turning on my M.Base and programming up a fresh kick drum ;p
I'd like to get my hands on one of the Jomox drum boxes.
@RFJ: I have seen those boxes by Jomox before. They've got several discontinued items that look really awesome. The price point is pretty high on most of them. Never looked up a video though.
But I think this is cool to have a repository for the cool random videos we come across and leave the hardware thread we have come to know and love as a place for member reviews / discussion / q&a.

Yeah I actually made a bid on one when I was bidding on shit a few months ago just to see what would happen. I was top bidder at 250.00 for like 24 hours until it shot up to like 1k+ prior to ending.

imo the hardware thread is the best thread on here by a mile. i usually just read and see the regs chatting pure hardware, not feeling like i should ruin the crisp, un touched nature of the thread by spouting my bollocks all over it lol
