Oh yeah? Really? Nothing about the court cases for violation of customers rights and how this is the most aggressive release of Windows ever..how it keeps resetting settings when it updates..how it collects info on you and doesn't make it straight forward enough to opt out.
At some distant future point folks will look back and almost quote Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities, when they remember Windows 10 and say, "It was the best of Windows, it was the worse of Windows".

Cheers for that..it's a really handy tool to have. Still, I'll personally be giving 10 a miss..just don't trust MS anymore. Don't want to be checking ever time they run and update to see if they've reset everything again..like they were doing when they first launched 10. Don't want to support that kind of shit in any way.
Tbh, the sooner I can move over to a Linux system that will safely run VSTs, the better. Not trying to piss any MS lovers off..it's just a personal thing.

Just read in an article over on PC World the Anniversary Update reactivates ads that have already disabled..not really surprised by this at all, though, tbh.

Overall I like it, but after that last update I had to go right through my privacy settings again.
I tried Ubuntu some time ago, and I liked the simplicity of it. And it was really fast... Gave my old laptop a new lease of life.
But from a music production point of view I couldn't find anything that would serve me at all and for that reason I had to continue with Windows.
Yeah..I feel exactly the same way..i would love to move over to Linux completely, but having tried various distros over the years, I feel it's just not up to it at the moment..plus not enough VSTi developers are sup[porting it either at this stage, which is a real shame.
That said, I live with the very real hope that the current situation will change for the better one day.
