Hey I am new to the whole electronic music scene, i am a guitarist and want to spice things up I guess. It's coming near christmas and I'm going to get a bit of money for it and I was wondering what would be the best choice.. korg electribe em-1(maybe mx) or a microkorg? thanks

I think it depends on what way you'd like to "spice thing up."
Personally I would get neither.

Did you try any of these keyboards out? It'd be a good idea to sit down with one and figure out if you want to shell out some cash for it. I bought a MicroKorg for the hell of it last year and never really used it after the first month. That is, until this past month where I've started using it more and more, both as a MIDI controller and something to play on for inspiration. I guess you could buy one and see how things go with it.
