Digital distribution

How do they decide what passes for distribution and what is not professional enough?

Because I sent the album and it passed. And then I sent one song at a time and I had a refusal. Maybe unformatted songs are new or what

Interesting @st3aLth. who did you send it to?

Is it possible the individual tracks were rejected because the album was already released?

I’ve had some of my YouTube videos get a copyright strike only to find out it was my distributor protecting me from infringing on myself! Because I used a track for the video that I had previously released as a single.

It didn’t cause a problem… only some confusion on my part. :man_shrugging:

I use ONERPM for distibution. It offers it for free.

No, the album has been approved. Problem with other tracks. For example, some were simply not accepted. Then I sent a few more tracks as singles and they were mixed according to the same principle. So: one passed the quality control, the other did not.

Hmmm  so… rejected and no reason or feedback given?

OneRPM is new to me , it seems legit and comprehensive.

Some reasons I know of for rejection: :skull_and_crossbones:
Wrong format or bit rate
Clipping or DB too close to zero
To many seconds of silence
Samples of copyrighted work (including some collections of Beats or Percussion Packs)
Undeclared Profanity
Incomplete filling out of the upload form

Maybe contact customer support? :man_shrugging:

Wishing you success! :+1::sunglasses:

Perhaps the Distrokid is the best options
